http://www.unreadable.nl/ypp.php - this program is very good and easy to use - run it along side pp, when you get into a battle just click bumps and shots and it will add up and tell you how close to max damage each ship is. comes in handy, as you dont have to work out what damage each sized cannon ball will do to each particular ship =]
